We seeking an experienced Events BDM/Account Manager to join a highly successful travel and events company, working remotely.
The ideal Events Business Development / Account Manager shall be working closely with the Head of Events to seek out new business opportunities and foster long-term client relationships.

Events BDM/Account Manager Duties:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the corporate events industry.
- Develop and implement strategies to attract and acquire new clients.
- Generate leads through various channels, such as networking, referrals, cold calling, and industry events.
- Opportunities to expand business with existing clients through upselling, cross-selling, or offering additional event services.
- Act as the main point of contact for clients, understanding their event requirements, objectives, and expectations.
- Prepare and deliver presentations to prospective clients, highlighting the value and benefits of the company’s event services.
- Collaborate with the Events logistics team to ensure that they understand the clients event objectives and requirements.
- Analyse sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
Essential Requirements:
- Prior sales/account management experience working in the events industry is essential.
- A comprehensive understanding of sales strategy and able to lead event tenders.
- Outstanding presentation, written, and verbal communication.
- Strong event business intelligence to challenge and drive better decisions by clients.
- Build strong relationships with key industry, and client contacts.
